Review:

Inuoe Mao's second role as a leading actress after Hana Yori Dango? Her character seems the same as Makino's just the only difference is that she is sick :( Good drama to watch, especially if you like Inuoe Mao as an actress.

Review:

I used parts of this series for my tech Ed. project that I had to do :P It really reminded me of those Back to the Future movies that I used to watch before. It was pretty sad that she was about to marry someone else, while all along her one and only love was making a speech...letting her get married to whom she didn't really love :( The special episode was a little pointless, I just wanted them to get married already :\

Shin Min Ah as Cha Eun Seok
Kim Sa Rang as Han Da Jung
Lee Ki Woo as Kim Joon Sung
Kim Young Jae as Kang Min Goo (Bok-ku's older brother)

Synopsis:

In A Love to Kill, Bi (Rain or Jeong Ji Hoon) plays a tough guy as the role of a K-1 Fighter, Kang Bok Gu. Bok Gu is a character who is dynamic in nature and grew up in a foster home. He falls in love with a woman whom he should not love. It was because of the woman, his emotionally-wounded brother fell off from the rooftop and became a human vegetable. So, his love is forbidden and inevitably tragic.
The woman is Cha Eun Seok (Shin Mina) who is a TV talent and movie actor. It was not that she jilted his brother on purpose, but upon a basis of misunderstanding, his hatred toward Cha Eun Seok grows more and more burning.
By becoming Cha Eun Seok’s private bodyguard, Bok Gu keeps concretely practicing his revenge upon her. He only desires ‘to bring his brother’s woman to her knees.’ He is gradually taking Cha Eun Seok to destruction, while he feels his love toward her growing deeper and deeper in his heart.
Bok Gu is a cold guy character without any special concern for woman. Martial art of hand-to-hand fighting was just kind of his escape he choose from the shock of a spinster’s death whom he loved from a distance. (Taken from DramaWiki)

Review:

The title of the drama really says it all. This is one of those typical sad korean dramas where you know that they have to die in order to be together again. I hated it when that moment came up in the end. I have to say their acting towards the end was really believeable, haha..but them dying ruined my moment of them wanting to be together again. Especially when they both died at the same time, just after they promised to part away from each other again. So sad :(

Review:

I can't really make a productable review about this drama since I haven't entirely watched the drama itself. Probably because I was so tempted to fast forward everytime during the drama, which could account for this lack of a review. Rainie Yang's high pitched voice was a little irritating, I find her more believeable if she were to speak normally and still have her cute appearance. Rather than having the cute appearance, and still trying to make that squeaky tone voice. The ending was adorable though :)

Yet another Rainie Yang and Mike He pairing, but this time including Kingone from Devil Beside You. Awe, too bad Figaro (Ah Rang) wasn't in this drama or else it could've been more interesting to watch ;) It was an okay storyline, not was expected. Review:

Awe, another remake of one of the most popular manga sold in Japan. I really liked the taiwanese "Hana Kimi", but I prefer this one instead because the story made more sense. The choice of characters weren't so shabby as well ;) Oguri Shun, who played Rui in Hana Yori Dango was a perfect choice to play Sano Izumi ! Review:

I absolutely loved this drama :) I wished I could have watched it again, but I don't really have the time to watch it. Especially with all those episodes. When I first watched it, the scenes were so dramatic. That part where Yuri her step siter hit Jung-suh with her car, leaving her with her father away from the family was already dramatic. But what was even worst was that she was able to keep a smile throughout the whole thing like nothing ever happened, and that she never even attempted to kill someone. Her brother whom she knew was madly in love with Jung-suh found out, and lived with her to recover. Even though he knew that if she were to find out who she really was, she might have left him. He kept on thinking that she could still fall in love with him, regardless of their previous relation. Cha Song-Ju on the other hand never knew what happened, a must see drama for sure :) ♥

Review:

I mostly watched this drama to see Lee Wan :) Hahaha, I guess because he was pretty good in Stairway to Heaven, Park Shin Hye also co-starred with him as well previously. I still think that she looks a little childish to play the role :\ And that he seems too good for her, they should have had a different girl play her role. But I still like her as an actress, just not this character :)

As Kurosagi, he swindles other con artists and returns the money to the original victim. Kurosaki's life begins to change when he meets Yoshikawa Tsurara, a young law student who disapproves of his disrespect of the law. Can she persuade Kurosaki to give up swindling and his quest for revenge? (Taken from DramaWiki)

Review:

This is more of a mystery, suspense sort of drama. Really interesting once you really get into it. I didn't exactly know if Kurosaki and the girl went together, more like in the movie they did. Yamashita Tomohisa plays this role fairly well, I haven't seen him in many of the dramas I've watched so I can't really tell. Still a good drama though...

Synopsis:
Kiritani Shuji is the popular guy who gets along with everyone, from the jerks to the nerds to the just plain weird. The one person Shuji cannot stand is Kusano Akira. To Shuji, Akira is just plain annoying. He laughs, talks and acts funny. Things heat up when a new student comes to school. Her name is Kotani Nobuko, a girl who has no self confidence at all and is content at being made fun of and bullied in school. Shuji and Akira come to an accord that in order to make use of their "youth" they will "produce" Nobuko as the next popular girl. One of the conditions, however, is that nobody should find out that they are working together as a team to make this concept possible. Unveiled here is the story of true friendship between three unlikely candidates who would not have been friends if not given the special circumstances.
(Taken from DramaWiki)

Review:
How they made school life appear in this drama seemed very troublesome. I don't exactly think that people today would go as far as to do all of these things that they have been doing to Nobuta. Probably it does happen from time to time, but not like what happens in the drama. The fact that the two guys took the time to turn her into someone more likeable, and more approachable was the main story plot of the drama. It was pretty sad that they all had to separate and leave Nobuta to live alone like she was before. At least she has come to realize that there were people who actually cared for her, and that she wasn't alone in life. Haha, when the two guys end up going to the same school leaving Nobuta. They all became happy, because Nobuta had the life she had always wanted and the two guys became closer friends.

Reviews:

Relates to anyone who loves fashion. The fact that Sui was able to draw a fanatastic design and end up winning as well was remarkable. It was awesome seeing her brave attitude towards the person whom she dispised. And even accidentally falling in love with her rival's son Liang, which was out of the ordinary. Liang also hated his own father as well, which helped Sui get her way about fighting Chu Xing. Along the way their own encounters including love rivals and their own competiveness against each other made it more lively in the series. I also loved the opening themesong of the drama by Garden Sister. Ariel Lin has also co-starred with one of the other actors in the Love Contract. Too bad Ariel Lin and Wu Chun aren't in any more drama's together, I'd love to see them in another drama since he now has a better haircut...:] I found it funny that Wu Chun's voice had to be synced with someone else's, but this is forgiveable since he wasn't able to speak Mandarin fully. He's acting skills make up for the loss of his voice :) The wig that Ariel Lin had to wear for the first few episodes looked real. I thought that it was her real hair, and that she was also required to cut off her hair for the drama. Who knew it was only a wig that she had to put on temporarly :P She acts more serious in this drama, all of her co-stars love to have her around. This drama is highly recommended again :) hahah, in general all the reviews I've made so far are must-sees ;)

Hana Yori Dango: Final begins as Domyoji holds an extravagant press conference to announce his wedding to Makino the following spring. The press is playing her up like a modern-day Cinderella and everything seems to be going well. Later, the families offer congratulations to the couple. Even Domyoji’s mother—who was formerly vehemently opposed to the relationship and tried desperately to break them up at every opportunity—is suddenly happy for them. She even offers Makino a family heirloom: a tiara worth 10 billion yen (about $95 million USD) called “Smile of Venus”.
Later in their hotel room, Makino begins to worry that her life is about to take a drastic change from what she’s used to. Domyoji consoles her by telling her he’ll spend the rest of his life protecting her, but just as he says that a man dressed in black crashes into their room through a window and steals the “Smile of Venus” tiara. Domyoji tries to chase the man but he vanishes into the city. By the time they get back to the hotel room the glass is completely cleaned up and the window is replaced as if nothing had ever happened. Obviously there’s some sort of conspiracy going on. Could Domyoji’s mother be meddling again, hoping to make it look like Makino carelessly lost the tiara herself? Or is someone at the hotel trying to cover up the crime? Domyoji and Makino are determined to get to the bottom of things, and end up going on a wild adventure together which takes them through Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and various places throughout the world. And don’t worry fangirls, the rest of F4 will show up too.

Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.
The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko. (Taken from DramaWiki)

Review:

Just watch the drama! I can't really describe the story since it is practically the same as Meteor Garden, with more good-looking actors and more interesting parts. Excluding Dao Ming Si name into Domyoji, and excluding the fact that he stopped eating x) If you're looking to find an alternative to Meteor Garden I'd watch this one for sure. Way better ratings, and way better storyline! More parts added :)

Review:

I'm not going to make a very long review for this drama and for the upcoming ones after. Takes too much time to type :P Goong from the start was giving me different vibes in if I should actually take the time to watch this drama. I saw it once in the Philippines, dubbed in Tagalog of course, but it wasn't that interesting to me. Especially with all the episodes which made it very time consuming for me :( It was worth it after I watched the whole thing, kind of confusing but way different from what I've been watching all along. This was more of the imperial household involving royalty, the only other drama that came close to royalty was Romantic Princess. But even then, the storyline wasn't as specific as it was in Goong. All of the actors/actresses in this drama were not even known in drama's yet. Well, maybe the main girl was since she did play in Coffee Prince, but even that was after Goong was made into a drama itself. The characters where lovable so it made it possible for people like us to actually understand the story line. She was forced to marry because of her grandfather's wish to his friend. Self-explanatory right there, her love was doomed from the start. Her wild, energetic personality causes her to get into the most craziest situations. The guy who played Yul looked like Rui in Hana Yori Dango :P (mostly the hair colour I suppose)

Review:

I also heard of this drama from a cousin of mine in the Philippines, so I decided to watch it. At first I thought that this drama had a second season, so I didn't exactly want to watch the first season. But turns out it only has one season, so I did end up watching it. The characters are really worth watching for. How Yu Rin was caught stealing the oranges from Gong Chan's family garden made me laugh so hard :) That was one of my favourite parts in the drama, including Jung Woo's love for Yu Rin. Lee Joon Ki starred in the korean movie "Virgin Snow" and was really good in it. He actually looks better now, but only a bit though. The Philippines even made a remake of this drama, it was good too. Just that the guy who played Jung Woo didn't look manly enough LOL ♥ I really didn't want this drama to end, the ending was perfect for me. It wasn't like the main characters died like what commonly happens during korean drama's like "Stairway to Heaven", and "A Love of Kill". The ending was short and sweet, my type of ending :) Even though I never even heard of the main guy playing in the drama's that I've watched, he was an excellent choice to play Gong Chan. His role became pretty dramatic towards the end, which made me love him more :P I'd watch this drama again for sure :)

Review:

One of my favourite drama's that I've watched so far :) It was based on Full House the Korean version. I was hooked onto this drama from the first episode. Nicholas Teo was also eye catching haha ;) My bad. It's more of a comedy/romantic sort of series, which is something I would definitaley watch :) There are so many cute scenes in the drama and had one of my favourite quotes, "Just smile and you can overcome absolutely anything" (Xiao Shi to He Qun). Her family is also hilarious, especially about the three month curse. I for one, don't believe in such superstitions, but it's pretty amusing for someone to go through all that trouble because of one superstituous curse :P I can't really pick just one favourite scene so I'll just point them out :)

1. Xiao Shi and He Qun first meet, and how he tried to made his ex-girl friend jealous :)

2. When Rita's friend locked Xiao Shi in the girl's bathroom leaving her until midnight, Ah Zhe saves her (while He Qun looked from afar)

3. He Qun's nickname "Jinx" and Xiao Shi's nickname "Turtle Girl" for eachother

There's probably a lot more, but I'll just be spoiling all the good parts :)

Review:

I only watched it mainly because it had the ever so handsome Mike He HAHA :) and Ariel Lin from ISWAK. It wasn't that bad of a drama, just a bit confusing. I didn't really get their relationship at first, but it did make sense afterwards. I also find that the characters where some of the people in Tokyo Juliet that also starred Ariel Lin as the main protagonist. Mike He seemed younger in this drama, probably because he was. He didn't look that good looking as he was in Devil Beside You, but we will all live :P Mike He's character involving his mother and father was pretty sad once you get his full story. Also of how his mother was still trying to find his father after so long, made you feel sorry for his mother. It was so sad when she ran out because she thought it was his father, and then died because of her Asthma..Mike He and Ariel Lin also looked like a good couple together, but I still prefer the Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng couple :) What I found was the most confussing about this drama was the ending. It sucked. At first the ending appeared as if it was suicide, and next ending turned out it was all fake, and the third it when they actually did commit suicide but can back from heaven to meet their friends. I must say, the ending was really bad. If I were to choose an ending out of the three choices, probably the suicide one. Not because I wanted it that way, I just wanted it to be sad and more understandable. She was already bed bounded for life, and he was already heart broken, his reactions did look suicidal. I would recommend this drama, only if you are bored :P

Dao Ming Si invites Shan Cai to go on F4's graduation trip with them to Spain, which is actually F4's way of letting Shan Cai and Dao Ming Si spend some time alone. Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai becomes inseparable during the trip. Just before Shan Cai and Si leave for Spain, Hua Ze Lei gave Ah Si an envelope with a "smart advice" in it. When Ah Si opens the envelope, he finds that the advice from Hua Ze Lei was to ask Shan Cai to marry him in an old church with a legend. Dao Ming Si buys a "Meteor Ring" which Shan Cai had her eyes on, and prepares to propose to her in a church that had special meanings of "love".
However, on the way to the church, Dao Ming Si gets into a car accident which had causes him to lose his memory. He met Ye Sha at that time, who helps him and looks after him. The sudden disappearance of Ah Si causes Shan Cai to worry, so she asks Jing to help her. The other three members of F4 also came to Spain immediately after they hear the news.
What follows is a story full of ups and downs as Shan Cai tries to find Dao Ming Si and help him regain his memory.
In this continued story of Meteor Garden, the love story of Xi Men and Mei Zuo are shown. The reason why Xi Men is such a playboy is revealed, as well as Mei Zuo's own love story since he was in elementary school. (Taken for DramaWiki)

Review:

There's really not that much to say about the sequel. I just find it very boring and lacking any realism. Who would actually forget all of his memories so quickly? The story in the middle of the series became more interesting. I just wish that he had remembered about Shan Cai a little sooner, instead of making so many episodes about his new love Ye Sha (who was later to be revealed as a princes). Ye Sha had an illness that could kill her, but Dao Ming Si still went to Shan Cai, which I find really cute. lol, true love never dies ;) But it did make the episodes for this season extend a bit more. The ending could have used some help, which goes back to my previous statement of the Japanese/Korean versions to have better and more worth while ending than the Taiwanese version. It was cute to have Dao Ming Si remember all of a sudden about all the hurt he has done to Shan Cai, then them being together again. Vic Zhou looked way better in "Silence" but when his character feel in love with Shan Cai, it made me really hope that he would end up with Shan Cai instead of Dao Ming Si taking her away from him again. I kept thinking that my poor Hua Ze Lei will never find his own love :( I actually thought that he was going to marry his childhood (who was older) friend, but that completely ruined the story when she didn't accept him. In the end though, Hua Ze Lei became happy just because Shan Cai was happy, I guess friendship is more important even though he loved Shan Cai that much. If I had known that the ending was only going to be that lame, I would have just watched the first season and end it right there. But if you're willing to want to watch the sequel, there's no stopping you :)

Review:

This drama also aired in the Philippines, but instead of Mandarin was dubbed in Tagalog. When I went to the Philippines to visit my cousins, that was probably when I first got introduced to this drama. All of my cousins were watching the drama, but I didn't really seem to get the storyline since I only watched the middle of the series while at the Philippines. Once I got home to watch from beginning to end, I fell in love with the drama. Haha, I guess it's a bit weird to like a drama so much but it was a really good drama I'm sure of it. Some parts were not that realistic like the fights they've been having, but all in all the episodes had really good plots. Rainie Yang only had a small role in this drama. I hated how her hair looked in this drama, and of her lack of acting abilities. Don't get me wrong though, I really do like Rainie Yang as a singer/actress, but just not in this drama. Probably because it was one of her first roles as an actress after being disbanded from her girl group. Barbie's role as Shan Cai made her become more famous, from what I believe. She really is a good actress, having to do all of those crying scenes and being able to remember all of those lines by heart. Jerry Yan was pretty amazing ;) LOL. But yeah, I really did like him playing Dao Ming Si, especially when his character became more childish to Shan Cai when he was revealing his true feelings towards her. I like the Japanese/Korean a little bit more than the Taiwanese, but it's still worth while to watch.

Review:

This was the first drama I've ever watched, and is still my favourite out of all the dramas I've watched so far. I did watch Rainie Yang in Meteor Garden, but I have to say that her perfomance as Qi Yue in this drama was probably one of her best that I've seen. I wasn't sure at first if this drama was going to become a good one, since it was a bit of a brother-to-be and sister-to-be relationship going on between the two. But it did go greatly in the end, the drama itself even had good reviews and everything. Mike He's character was one of those tall, sleek, and handsome type of guys that you would see in dramas. I love his character, especially when he slowly became all sweet towards Qi Yue about his true feelings for her. I also love how the story revolves around students going to school, it made it more believeable that something like this could have happened to us (minus the sister-to-be and brother-to-be relationship). I don't exactly know why Qi Yue's other friend is rarely mentioned in the drama, actually I find it pointless to have her even show up if her job is to appear only three times. Haha, but I guess it's just business, I mean she does earn money for appearing at least once in the series. The drama itself was not too long, actually I still wanted it to continue, possibly to have another season/sequel to the story. Or maybe even a movie type of thing, showing what their live would have been afterwards. I know that in the manga itself, the story doesn't stop at the drama's very end. It showed that they both got married...awe...that would have been more interesting :) Definately watch this one!

Can she be able to uphold the title of Huangfu Xiong's grand daughter and manage to get along with Nan Feng Jin? It all goes down to her role as the princess of the household, with a twisted romance.

Review:

This drama sort of reminds me of Gossip Girl, not because their people in the drama are like the ones who play in Gossip girl. It's just because of the school Xiao Mai has to attend and of the rich status of all the other people around her. Her character being as poor as she was before and then managing to get her way from rags to riches is really something. Everyone seems to be accepting her, except for Nan Feng Jin who dispises her from the start. Jin's character seems to be uptight and serious upon their first meeting. The EMP also has a funny side to him, regardless of how serious he may seem to be. I did find some parts to be a little dragged on like when EMP hired Gong Mo Li to pretend to be the real grand daughter to trick Xiao Mai into thinking that she was indeed the real grand daugter. What is worst is that the ending absolutely sucked....I think that I could have made a way more interesting and lively ending than what was made up by the producers of the series. That is probably why the drama lacked votes near the ending of the whole series, I mean they could have had maybe another two/three more episodes if they made a better ending. However, other than that the characters and story plot where really good. Not as good as It Started with a Kiss, but I'd say it's something to watch :)
