Synopsis:
Xiao Shi is a girl who has gone through many short relationships, 17 to be exact, not one lasting more than 3 months hence, she was cursed with a three-month curse. After being dumped by her 17th boyfriend, the world looks grimmer than ever. At that time, a famous idol, He Qun runs past, bumps into Xiao Shi, and they end up "kissing" on the street. Paparazzi swarmed by and to avoid a bad reputation, He Qun’s manager declared Xiao Shi as He Qun’s girlfriend of one year and fiancée. Thus, a love contract was made. This story is about how the couple learns to like each other after having disagreements in the beginning, as well as fighting the injustices the media throw at them. Review:
One of my favourite drama's that I've watched so far :) It was based on Full House the Korean version. I was hooked onto this drama from the first episode. Nicholas Teo was also eye catching haha ;) My bad. It's more of a comedy/romantic sort of series, which is something I would definitaley watch :) There are so many cute scenes in the drama and had one of my favourite quotes, "Just smile and you can overcome absolutely anything" (Xiao Shi to He Qun). Her family is also hilarious, especially about the three month curse. I for one, don't believe in such superstitions, but it's pretty amusing for someone to go through all that trouble because of one superstituous curse :P I can't really pick just one favourite scene so I'll just point them out :)
1. Xiao Shi and He Qun first meet, and how he tried to made his ex-girl friend jealous :)
2. When Rita's friend locked Xiao Shi in the girl's bathroom leaving her until midnight, Ah Zhe saves her (while He Qun looked from afar)
3. He Qun's nickname "Jinx" and Xiao Shi's nickname "Turtle Girl" for eachother
There's probably a lot more, but I'll just be spoiling all the good parts :)
