Synopsis:

On the day of her absolute love confession, she completely makes a fool of herself right in front of him. What is even worst is that the house she and her father are currently living in, has collapsed and left them homeless. The Jiang family (former classmate and friend of Xiang Qin's father) have invited them to live at their house, Zhi Shu's family. Can Qiang Xin be able to live with the him after her failed love confession? Or will she be able to get the uptight Zhi Shu to fall in love with her?

Review:

The storyline was pretty interesting, since the girl was noted to be a very dumb, unintelligent young girl, who struggles in her "F" class, and somehow manages to get caught up in the life of Zhi Shu the school's genius. Once you really get into the drama your first thought was to think that Qiang Xin and Zhi Shu's relationship was off to a bad start. First receiving the love letter, and of Zhi Shu's cold, rude remarks made about Qiang Xin. I find Qiang Xin to have a lot of confidence and courage to actually be able to declare her love to him like that. There is probably no way that something so embarrassing as to write it in a letter, could ever happen to other girls these days. Not only that but the choice of character personalities actually suites each actor/actresses. I love how Ariel Lin plays her role as Qiang Xin, since in reality both her and Joe Cheng act differently off camera. Joe Cheng has the more playful attitude, while Ariel Lin is more serious both completely different from their current roles. The pairing of both them is also really good, they look like they could have been a couple in real life, not just faking it on screen to appear realistic. The drama itself may be long, however after you get through the first few episodes it'll make you want to watch the rest just to see what will happen to the dumb girl meets super genius couple :) There are a lot of hilarious scenes most of them including Jiro playing Ah Jin, who is in love with Qiang Xin. Ever since watching Jiro in Hana Kimi (Taiwanese Version) he has greatly improved in his acting abilities. He suits playing funny roles, and possibly dramatic roles depending on what exactly his character's personality is. As for the rest of the cast who play the family and friends of Xiang Xin and Zhi Shu, props to them for keeping up appearances in all the hilarious commotions that come up :P People who definitely go and watch this drama, if it's the first Asian drama they've ever watched this one will probably not be your last !
